Me Chantal Perreault has practiced law for over 25 years and specializes in business
                        law, rights of shareholders, mediation and arbitration, as well as issues of professional
                        ethics. She holds a Master's degree from the University of Montreal, and obtained,
                        in 2009, the distinction of Avocatus Eméritus, Ad.E..
                        
                        
                        She has authored several publications with Les Éditions Yvon Blais relating to professional
                        practice, disciplinary matters, and the rights of shareholders. She has also been
                        an invited lecturer on these topics on numerous occasions (Colloque des juges de
                        la Cour du Québec , Congrès de l'Association des avocats de province,
                        the Conférence conjointe internationale de l'IOA, FCO, etc…). In addition
                        to being an accredited mediator in civil and commercial matters, Me Perrault is
                        certified by the International Association of Ombudsmen (IOC), and is a member of
                        the IOA and the Canadian Forum of Ombudsmen (FCO).
                        
                        
                        In 2008, Me Perreault presided over the study committee initiated by the business
                        section of the Canadian Bar Association - Quebec division, overseeing the modernization
                        of the LCQ. The committee's comments and recommendations were remitted to the Minister
                        of Finance.
                        
                        
                        In 2009, Me Perreault appeared on behalf of the Canadian Bar, before the Public
                        Finance Committee to address the proposed legislation on corporations presented
                        by the Honorable Raymond Bachand. In 2009, she was also given the Jules Dêschênes
                        Award from the Canadian Bar Association, Quebec division, for her outstanding contribution
                        as President of the Business Law section of that Association.
