Evaluate the relevancy and usefulness of polygraph testing in various types of files using today's technology. What are the implications of submitting to a "lie detector"? What can it really detect?

Polygaph testing may not be 100% accurate in detecting deception, but then again, when it comes to issues of credibility, nothing truly is 100% accurate. It is however a useful tool when used in the proper context and when conducted by a competent, reliable and expert operator. If you have never considered polygraph testing, here is an opportunity to learn more. If you have considered polygraph testing in the past but then discarded that option, perhaps it is time to take a second look at what today's polygraph can offer.
